Convert Markdown to an editable Word document

Not everyone who needs to read your Markdown notes is comfortable with raw text files. A manager asked to review a project plan, a colleague using a different tool, or a client expecting a Word attachment will all want something they can open and mark up directly. Markdown to Word bridges that gap by turning a .md file into a standard DOCX.

Upload your file and the conversion happens on our servers, with the upload removed again within 60 minutes. Headings, bullet and numbered lists, tables, and inline formatting like bold and italic text all carry across into equivalent Word styles, so the result opens as a normal, editable document rather than a picture of one. If your file starts with a metadata block between --- lines, that information comes through as a small table at the top instead of being dropped. There are no options to set beyond choosing the file.

Once converted, you can keep editing in Word exactly as you would any other document: add comments, track changes, or restyle the fonts to match a template. This is the right tool when the destination is a Word workflow.
