PDF Form Filler
Fill in a PDF's form fields and save or flatten the result.
Fill in a PDF form online without printing it first
Plenty of forms still arrive as PDFs: a rental application, a school enrollment sheet, a vendor tax form. You could print, write by hand, and scan it back in, but that leaves a crooked photo instead of a clean document. The PDF Form Filler lets you type directly into the form's own fields and download a filled copy.
Open your PDF and the tool reads the fillable fields already built into it, so text boxes, checkboxes, and dropdowns behave as designed. You click into each field, enter your answer, and save the completed file. The file travels to our servers over an encrypted connection and is deleted within 60 minutes. You can also flatten the result before downloading, which bakes your entries into the page and locks them from further editing.
This only works on PDFs that already contain form fields. If a form was scanned or flattened into a plain image, there is nothing to click into, and you need a general PDF editor to add text boxes by hand instead.
Check every required field shows a value before you download. An empty field is easy to miss on screen but obvious once someone opens the file and finds a blank where your answer should be. Keep a copy for your own records, since some recipients only accept the flattened, non-editable form.
How to use the PDF Form Filler tool
- Add your PDF file: drag & drop or click to browse.
- Make your changes in the editor, then download the result.
