Convert an ODT document to PDF that opens the same everywhere

An .odt file opens cleanly in the word processor it was written in, but send it to someone without that program installed and they are stuck. ODT to PDF turns the document into a PDF that looks the same on any device, so a report, letter or contract stays readable no matter what the recipient has.

Upload the .odt file and the tool converts it the way you would expect: headings, paragraph styles, page and column layout, embedded images, tables and footnotes come through as they appear in the original, and the text stays selectable and searchable rather than becoming a picture of the page. Fonts are matched as closely as the document allows, and page breaks and margins carry over so the printed page count does not shift. There are no settings to pick; you upload the file and the PDF comes back in the same layout.

The conversion happens on our servers, and the uploaded file is deleted within 60 minutes, so nothing is left behind. It works the same from a laptop or a phone, with no software to install first. If you need to keep editing comments or tracked changes afterward, hold on to the .odt as your working copy and treat the PDF as the version you share or print. For a document saved in Rich Text Format instead, use RTF to PDF.
