Convert HTML pages to clean Markdown

Anyone building a knowledge base or a set of notes sometimes starts with a page saved as HTML rather than the Markdown it may have started as. Copying and cleaning that by hand wastes time better spent on the content itself. HTML to Markdown handles that cleanup for you.

Upload an .html or .htm file and the conversion runs on our servers, with the file deleted again within 60 minutes. Headings, paragraphs, links, lists, and tables are all rewritten into their Markdown equivalents, so the output reads as plain text with pound signs and asterisks instead of angle-bracket tags. The page's browser-tab title is treated as metadata rather than body text, so it does not turn into a duplicate heading on top of whatever heading the page already shows. There are no options to choose beyond the file itself.

This suits pages saved from a browser, exported from a content system, or scraped for reference notes. Very design-heavy pages built from nested layout tables or unusual markup may come through simplified, since the goal is readable Markdown rather than an exact match of the layout.
