CSV to JSON reads a comma, semicolon, tab or pipe separated file, works out the delimiter itself and writes a JSON array with one object per row, keyed by the header row. Upload the file. Numbers become numbers, including values with thousands separators; true and false become booleans; empty fields become null; everything else stays a string, so a date or a phone number is never mangled. Quoted fields that contain commas, quotes or line breaks are handled correctly, and a leading byte-order mark is ignored. Headers that repeat get a number added, and a blank header becomes a column name so no data is dropped. If you prefer raw text everywhere, switch value types to keep everything as text. Headers written as paths, for example customer.name or a numbered item of a list, are rebuilt into nested objects and arrays. This is the format JSON to CSV produces, so a JSON file can travel through a spreadsheet and come back with its shape intact.
